Armadillo Academy

Introduction

theGrogroup support professional services firms in developing Leadership and Management, Business Development, Commercial and Advisory skills that impact on top and bottom line performance.

We have partnered with Armadillo to provide you, as members, with your own Armadillo Academy – which is all about driving performance and helping your team to grow. To develop your Managers and Partners of the future, by providing a framework of knowledge, support, ‘life hacks’ and tools to help them to make your firm as successful as possible. An introductory video can be found here.

With firms responding to the Covid-19 pandemic and managing the economic impact on their client base, we are initially offering three key programmes to Armadillo members to help them make the best of their resources and client contacts.

3 Key Programmes

Business Development In a modern Professional Services Firm, everybody has to be responsible for developing business and growing the top line profitably. This isn’t just about winning new clients and projects, it’s about retaining developing existing clients and looking for opportunities to add value, help solve their challenges and issues through providing high quality solutions. It’s about building and nurturing relationships with intermediaries and referrers which is even more important now so many interactions are online. Click here to see a summary of the modules.

Fee: Just £600pp +VAT, for all 4 modules

Dates: 6 Nov 2020 (Building your pipeline), 13 Nov 2020 (Generating more from existing), 20 Nov 2020 (Client interaction and Adviser essentials), 27 Nov 2020 (Converting and pitching)

Bookings can be made by emailing hello@thegrogroup.com, with names and email addresses of participants and the courses they wish to attend.  Spaces are limited, so please do book early and if programmes are full you will be added to a waiting list.

Pathway to Partner Often people ‘make it’ to partner based mainly on technical knowledge and ability – and are suddenly given business development, people and practice leadership responsibility. For many it can take time before they are able to balance all the elements of performance at partner level and deliver against targets.

The Pathway to Partner programme helps Directors and Senior Managers on partner track, to develop the key skills, knowledge and behaviours in advance of that step-up – meaning that they can demonstrate improved performance before being promoted. Find our more here.

Fee: £1,250pp +VAT, for all 10 modules

2021 Dates: 12 Jan, 9 Feb, 9 Mar, 13 Apr, 11 May, 8 June, 13 July, 10 Aug, 7 Sept, 5 Oct

Bookings can be made by emailing hello@thegrogroup.com, with names and email addresses of participants and the courses they wish to attend.  Spaces are limited, so please do book early and if programmes are full you will be added to a waiting list.

Developing Managers The impact that management has on organisational performance cannot be understated. Yet it is often taken for granted, with people just expected to naturally ‘step-up’ and manage teams. With the shift to increased remote working, great management, alongside leadership, is more important that ever to maintain engagement, motivation, growth and performance. We help to develop effective management behaviours and skills and have developed a range of practical tools and approaches to positively impact on individual and collective performance – find out more here.

Fee: £600pp +VAT, for all 4 sessions

Dates: 19 Jan and 2 Feb 2021 (Self-Management: 2 x ½ days), 16 Feb 2021 (Managing performance), 2 March 2021 (Empowering and motivating others)

How to book and pay

Bookings can be made by emailing hello@thegrogroup.com, with names and email addresses of participants and the courses they wish to attend.  Spaces are limited, so please do book early and if programmes are full you will be added to a waiting list.

theGrogroup will issue an invoice on receipt of your booking email. Booking details, pre-course information and full details are then released on receipt of invoice payment.

Should any programme be postponed or cancelled then theGrogroup will give options to refund all monies paid or to carry monies forward as credit against future programmes.

Delivery

These programmes will initially be delivered using Zoom – a platform I am sure we have now all become very familiar with! Using breakout rooms we keep sessions interactive and having your phone handy means you can also take part in the voting and collaboration tools we use at Menti.com. It is possible that we will look to provide some of the partner programmes at the end of 2021 face to face in a central location if all participants agree.

Before each session we engage with delegates, providing reading and preparation in advance to ensure that sessions are practical, collaborative and interactive with discussion focused on solving real challenges. To help delegates to embed learning into action and impact on performance ‘on the job’ we provide useful resources and toolkits post-session.
