A mid-tier law firm was growing fast and losing staff as they neither understood the vision for the business not their place within it. While turnover can be a good thing, they were losing their better staff as well and this was causing a shortage of Associates in key client teams.
We created an ‘Academy’ that provided a ‘wrapper’ for their professional service development. Starting with a leadership programme for Associates and Directors on the path to partnership it was quickly established as delivering high quality, relevant, well delivered content that was useful to fee earners back at work.
The Academy has been the subject of press comment and has been shortlisted for a training award. More importantly it is seen as one of the key reasons for people joining the firm and remaining with the firm saving a considerable sum of money in recruitment fees and lost client time.
